Current Masters at Our School:
Master Liu is an expert in Meihua Quan (Plum blossom fist), Shaolin Fist, Wing Chun, Ba gua ( Eight Trigram), Taichi and Baji fist.He is famous throughout China for his high Martial arts dan grading No.seven. Master Liu also received the award; Top ten excellent Master in Shandong Province.
Born in Heze city, Shandong Province(one of the birth places of Chinese Martial Arts),at the age of six he began to learn Meihua Quan (Plum blossom fist) from his father. Master Liu then went to the Shaolin Temple where he became proficient in Shaolin Fist, hard qigong as well as all kinds of weapons.
He joined many martial arts competitions held home and abroad and achieved outstanding scores, because of his excellent performance, Master Liu was employed as coach by the Chinese National Team when he was 24 and he educated thousands of martial arts talents for the country.
He understands that there is no end to learning, in his free time after teaching, he has visited many famous martial arts master throughout China and learned Taichi, Wing chun, Bagua and Baji (both south and north branch).
Master Liu has a vast array of experience teaching both Chinese and international students, helping to elevate the skills of kung fu practitioners of all levels, from beginners to those of advanced levels.
Master Liu has been teaching for more than 40 years so he has a variety of methods that allow him to teach in accordance with students’ characters, which can help students fast achieve their goals more quickly. He enjoys a high level of respect from students, because he is strict on students in training but kind in daily life. That is why his students come from many different countries across the world follow his teaching.
Further, Master liu is a high respected calligrapher and teacher of wellness qigong. At present, he is the member of calligraphy committee of Shandong Province and national-level social instructor of wellness qigong including Baduan jin, Yinjinjing and Five animal exercise,etc.
Master Yan began to learn kung fu in a martial arts school when he was just a young child. Through dedication and hard training at his young age he became proficient in Shaolin Fist, Sanda kickboxing, wrestling and direct combat kung fu. During this time he traveled throughout China, and internationally, to attend a number of kung fu competitions, he achieved 'outstanding' scores in all the competitions he took part in.
At the age of 14 he began to study Jeet Kune Do, Nunchaku and Wing Chun. He learned under the guided pupilage of his master Wei Feng, the chairman of the international Jeet Kune Do Union. During this time he learnt a wide range of combat techniques, fist forms, kicks, take downs, grappling moves and weapons.
In order to develop his kung fu skills further he moved to Beijing to learn Wing Chun from the famous martial artist Wang Zhipeng, the fourth generation successor if Ip Man and the chairman of the Ving Tsun Beijing of China organisation. During his time under Master Wang Zhipeng Master Yan's Wing Chun skills developed to new highs, and his understanding of the ethos and principles of Wing Chun developed to the level where Master Yan could begin to teach others the martial art of Wing Chun.
Master Yan has also worked as a professional Sanda Kickboxing coach at the Shandong Wushu Sports Management Center. He has rich experience teaching students of all levels the incredibly effective combat skills involved in Sanda Kickboxing (now recognised in MMA).
With a huge amount of kung fu techniques and skills at his disposal Master Yan is an excellent martial artist and any students training with him have a great opportunity to learn from his skills. His easy going nature and dedication to his students, and kung fu, make him much loved and respected by all of his students.
He Shifu (Buddhist name Shi Yan Chun) was born in in the home of Shaolin kung fu, Dengfeng, Henan province. Dengfeng city is one of the most renowned spiritual centers of China and famous as “the heart of the Kung Fu”. The world famous Shaolin Temple is located here as well as many other temples and historic gates.
He Shifu studied Shaolin Kung Fu, Zen and Buddhism for over 10 years at The Shaolin Temple starting when he was just 7 years old. After many years of intensive and dedicated training, he acquired the level of master in Shaolin Kung Fu Fist, Shaolin Staff, Sword, Spear, and other weapons.
He also specializes in hard QiGong (iron shirt) having reached a very high level of understanding and practical knowledge in this ancient and fascinating discipline of QiGong. He has experience teaching hard QiGong to students of all levels.
With a keen interest in all aspects of kung fu and a will to increase his knowledge Master He began to learn, and later master, WIng Chun and Wudang Tai Chi.
The combination of multiple different external and internal styles of kung Fu has helped to make He Shifu’s Kung Fu unique, balanced and inimitable.
He Shifu's dedication to Kung Fu training can be seen in his daily life and in the way he teaches his students. His discipline, knowledge and practical skills allow Master He to provide his students with a unique and high quality level of tuition. He has over 30 years of teaching experience with international students of all levels of ability.
Competitions & Awards
Below are some of the awards and accomplishments of Master He:
1985 – three gold medals in Shaolin Drunk Fist, Luohanquan and Spear in the Kung Ku competition organized by four provinces (Henan, Shandong, Jiangsu, and Hubei) in Henan province.
1990 – first places in Shaolin Staff and Hard Chi Gong at the forth Henan Provincial Sports Meeting.
1992 – two gold medals in Wing Chun competition held in Guangdong Provincial.
1993 – two gold medals in Tai Chi forms and one gold medal in Bagua at Chinese Wushu Festival in Kaifeng, Henan Province.
1996- two gold medals at the International Shaolin Wushu Festival held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province.
1998 – three gold medals at the Second Global Kung Fu Conference on Chinese Kung Fu and Martial Arts Development and Protection Forum at Liangshan, Shandong Province, China.
2010 – one gold medal in Shaolin Sword, one gold medal in Hard Chi Kung, and one gold medal in Shaolin Spear at the Third Global Kung Fu Conference on Chinese Kung Fu and Martial Arts Development and Protection Forum at Liangshan, Shandong Province, China.
2012 – two gold medals in Tai Chi forms and one gold medal in Tai Chi Sword at the third Chinese Wudang Kung Fu Conference.
