Get treatment after your training from highly skilled acupuncture experts.
Our kung fu school has a friend hospital for acupuncture, cupping and moxibustion, where students can visit after training and on the weekends. The acupuncture practitioners there are very skillful and many of our students have noticed significant improvements in muscle pain, injury recover time and the healing of old injuries or ailments.
After training, especially in the beginning, your muscles may feel a little painful or tight particularly if you want to be a fighter so you train very hard, you have to find a way to ease the body’s pain. As we know, during Rio Olympic Games, many athletes like Michael Phelps used this traditional Chinese medicine and went on to achieve great success.
As a Kung Fu and wellness school, we not only teach you kung fu but also how to improve your fitness so you have more energy to training and keep your health. The following are some introductions to the traditional Chinese acupuncture and cupping and the doctors.
To Dr. Wang and Dr. Ye, I would like to thank you both for your treatment of my knee and the professional manor in which you carried out your practice… following my first visit I noticed great relief in the area that had previously been hurting… On the whole I was very pleased with the warm yet professional care I received. Greatly impressed by the improvement I saw during treatment. I would be happy to recommend not only acupuncture but this team in particular.
How does acupuncture work?
Acupuncture improves the body’s functions and promotes the natural self-healing processing by stimulating specific anatomic sites (Chinese acupoints). This is done by inserting fine sterile needles into the skin or using the medicine-dealt bamboo to heat skin.
Modern research has demonstrated the effects of those treatments on the nervous system, endocrine and immune systems, cardiovascular system, and digestive system. By stimulating the body’s various systems, acupuncture can help to resolve pain, and improve sleep, digestive function, and sense of well-being.
